Not Sure Where to Start?
That’s okay. Many people don’t know what kind of help they need, only that something isn’t right.
You don’t need to have it figured out.
Start by reaching out. We’ll listen, ask the right questions, and help you take the next step.
Being injured on duty, mentally or physically, entitles you to support. However, getting fair treatment from ACC or your employer can be difficult. Many are left to fight alone but you don’t have to.
We can help you:
-
Understand your rights under the Accident Compensation Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, and Employment Relations Act
-
Challenge decisions made by ACC, Police HR, or third-party providers
-
Access legal referrals with trusted lawyers who understand the realities of policing and mental injury
-
Take next steps when you're being ignored, silenced, or treated unfairly
We also understand the risk of being targeted for speaking up. That’s why we take privacy seriously. Under the Privacy Act, your personal and health information must be protected.
Talk to us to make sure you know what your rights are, how to protect yourself, and what action you can take if your privacy has been breached.
